SDAESP and SDASSP Advocate for Education in Washington D.C.

Writer's picture: Dr. WalderDr. Walder

In March, the South Dakota Elementary Principals' Association and the South Dakota Secondary Principals' Association joined in Washington D.C. for the National Leaders Advocacy Conference.

Together, the teams met with Congressman Dusty Johnson, Senator John Thune, and a representative from Senator Rounds' Office. We are appreciative of the time each office spent with our team to learn the stories of South Dakota schools.

A special thank you to Brad Seamer from Harrisburg and Troy James from Beresford for organizing our visits with our Congressional representatives.
