Tip Tuesday: Ten Minutes to Build Relationships

A simple idea to increase communication with families is to spend the first ten minutes of your staff meeting having teachers send positive messages to family members. Have your staff simply bring a device to the meeting and establish the routine. As a bonus you could provide a snack that they can grab and play some music to set the mood! Implementing this fosters strong relationships, boosts morale, encourages family engagement, motivates students, and contributes to a more supportive school culture. This small investment of time can pay big dividends in building a thriving educational community where everyone works together for the benefits of students.
